Here are some incredible things I took from each of your journals. We need to be encouraged and challenged by what our team members are getting from their personal time with the Lord. I kept all quotes anonymous so that no one was embarrassed...

Psalm 5:7
"But I, by Your great love, can come into Your house; in reverence I bow down toward Your holy temple." I thank God He has made a way for me to come to Him. I can tell Him everything and He already knows. He sees the deepest parts of me and still loves me.

The Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.

I want to have an intimate relationship with God and hear directly from Him. I feel He has called me to a higher standard.

1 Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. But set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in faith and in purity."

God has been showing me that He wants to show us visions and dreams. But we don't take time to enter into that place. He's heartbroken because there are so many things God wants to show us if we would only take the time to listen.

John 10:28 says that no one can steal us out of His hand. I love that because it talks about how much God protects us.

God wants me to be ready for Him and I want to be closer to Him than before.

When God asks us to do something we feel is out of our comfort zone, we need to OBEY!

The Lord wants us to sit and be silent... and hear His voice. God help us to listen!

Dear God,
Help me to understand your Word. Not only that, but to apply it to my life. Lord, help me to be a light unto this world. Help me to be able to be an example to this world. Please put people in my life to encourage me to grow closer to You. Lord, give me a deeper passion for you.

Tonight as I was praying I just surrendered myself to the Lord and He gave me peace.

I caught myself, while I was reading the Bible, not wanting to stop like a really good book you want to read. You can't get your mind off of it!

I was reading John 3:17-21 and I got a vision of a man with dark spots on him. He was walking into a bright light. That light was God and when we have sin and step into His presence all our sin is revealed. That darkness disappears. It's like when you open a closet door and light comes in. Darkness (evil) hides into the corners.

I want to grow closer to God and become more of a leader. I want to lead the younger students and make an impact on the world around me.

I want to be a part of a supportive team, serving God and stepping out as leaders. I want to act out my faith and I want my relationship with God to grow. I also want to grow closer to the team members and leaders. I want to be changed.
